Introduction
Angel Public School, the name which has become a paragon in the field of education was founded in 1996 under the noble motto of “Vidya Ddati Vinayam”. The school has never looked back since its foundation and today stands tall, an imposing complex of two stories built over an area of 5 acres in the heart of the town with a spacious and well-ventilated structure.
Classrooms are equipped with comfortable furniture, innovative as well as sophisticated audio-visual aids, Science-Mathematics, and Broadband Computer Labs to bring out effective result-oriented teaching and learning.
The school is under complete CCTV Audio Video Surveillance.
The school has a large newly built auditorium with a large stage and audio-video fittings that provide students a much-needed platform for extracurricular activities.
The school has an air-conditioned Pre-Nursery Classroom with air-cooled toy rooms.

Body
Angel Public School focuses special attention on the inherent capabilities of the children to develop into star athletes Children can aim to excel in the field of Sports based on his/her grit, determination, and hard work. Trained coaches are employed by the school authorities to provide the best facilities to the students and help the children develop a passion for their respective sports.
Both boys and girls are given equalized training in various sports and they proudly represent the school at the state and national levels.
Soul
To discover the hidden talents in the students, due importance is given to the co-curricular activities which are essential for the overall development of the personality of the students.

Current Status and Future Plans
At present, the school is a Co-educational English Medium Secondary school which is affiliated to Central Board of Secondary Education. Being the first school of Nohar to get an affiliation with the prestigious Central Board of Secondary Education the school soon plans to upgrade to become a full-fledged Senior Secondary School affiliated with CBSE, New Delhi having all three streams-Science, Arts, and Commerce. The qualified and assiduous staff has worked with dedication and cooperation to give practical touch to the dreams of the Director, Mrs.Sashi Maheswari.

It is a pleasure for me as the Director of the school, to introduce Angel to our many visitors who visit our school and motivate the work of this progressing institution. It is similarly a great pleasure for me to welcome the many “virtual” visitors who visit our website to get a glimpse of this institution which has been the cornerstone of English medium schooling in Nohar.
About us
Angel Public School was founded in 1996 with a student strength of just 23 students with a vision to fulfill the absence of an English medium school in Nohar. The original concept was to develop a primary English medium school in Nohar and gradually the school developed into a Secondary School affiliated with the prestigious Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi. Being the first school in Nohar and its adjoining towns of Bhadra and Rawastar to have an affiliation with the Central Board of Secondary Education, the school is continuously progressing along the vision of Late Smt. Chandrakala Devi Daga (wife of Late Shri. Bansidhar Daga and daughter of Late Shri Ghanshyam Das Birla) to provide Nohar with a full-fledged English medium affiliated to CBSE, New Delhi having all the three streams-Science, Arts, and Commerce.
Teaching and Learning
Angel Public School, today is a modern-day school that provides quality education to over 1100 students. The School caters to children from Nursery to Class X and is affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi.
The staff and management team of Angel Public School places great importance on the academic achievement of all the students as well as on their wholesome and all-round growth and development. The teaching body has a wide range of academic qualifications and this is reflected in the curriculum on offer. All subjects are taught in English and students are expected to speak English at all times whilst on the campus. This provides them with an opportunity to become fluent even if their first language is not English.
The school offers three second languages; Hindi, Sanskrit & Punjabi.
The learning process starts the moment the children are admitted to the Nursery through a combination of play and formal learning techniques. As they progress through the Junior School and into the Secondary School, students are prepared for the important AISSE certificate examinations, which provide a passport to future learning and employment.
Well-qualified and experienced staff use a range of teaching methods to enhance the learning environment.
In addition, the School offers spacious classrooms with projector-based Smart classrooms to enhance subject understanding. Well-equipped Science & Mathematics laboratories are available to provide students with an enhanced learning experience. Students onwards Class II have access to our well-equipped Computer Lab, which offers Unlimited Broadband Internet connectivity under the supervision of qualified technical support staff. The institute is increasingly offering computer-based learning across the whole school from the Junior classes upwards and this is in the drive to modernize the learning process.
A well-stocked library with over 4800 books on various subjects, 18 periodicals, and 7 dailies is available to add to the knowledge base of our students.
Formal learning is only part of the whole living experience offered at Angel Public School. It is the social learning that takes place in this community that leads us to believe that we offer a unique experience for children and young people who live, work, and play here.
The School has recently embarked on an ambitious development program to further the curriculum by including informal education linked to the curriculum under the newly introduced National Education Policy.

The school is affiliated to the Secondary level with the prestigious Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi vide affiliation no.1730302.
The school is now looking forward to expanding its classes up to the Senior Secondary Level with the three streams viz. Science, Humanities & Commerce.

Nohar Way of Life
The campus – Ensconced in the wholesome surroundings of 5 acres of land, the idyllic campus has aesthetically designed buildings, vast playgrounds, well-equipped Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Computer Science Laboratories, an extensive library, and an audio-visual room.
The Academic Year & Examinations
The academic year is from April to March, comprising 3 semesters. The educational progress of the students is assessed by unit tests, surprise tests, and half-yearly/annual examinations. The school aims to achieve total development of a student’s personality and follows a Continuous comprehensive system of Evaluation.
Admission Process
Admission is open throughout the year but the last date of registration for a particular year is 20th February or latest by 15th March (with a late fee). Students are admitted from classes V onwards based on an admission test conducted in March/April, which is a written examination in General English, Hindi, and Mathematics. This is followed By an interview for classes from Nursery to V admission is granted on a First-Come-First-Serve Basis.

Being an educator for over twenty-five years, I have realized that every child is different; he/She is driven and motivated in a different manner and via different things. At Angel, we respect each child’s unique gifts and the love, hopes, and expectations that their parents hold for them.
Maximum stress in our institution is laid on Discipline as it is an essential ingredient to achieve excellence in the field of education. Our lively classrooms celebrate the joy of learning and foster an explorative quest for excellence. We draw upon the rich historical, cultural, and scientific resources of the nation to extend learning beyond the classroom. We run a highly successful Kindergarten based on the playway method. It is based on the CBSE norms saving the children from carrying books home every day. The school has a child-friendly learning and examination system and the children’s performance is judged utilizing a Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation system. This gives them a respite from the pressures of academics.
We aim to have an overall development of the personality of individuals beginning from an early age. Therefore, Sports and Co-curricular activities form an integral part of our education system which leads to the development of leadership skills and character. A new session brings in a new set of responsibilities for each of us. With the experience gained in the recent past, we plan for the near future.
Schooling is a journey like that of a train. It starts from the origin of class Nursery. Passengers (children) take some time to adjust to the pace of the train (school), but they keep on journeying, with trust in the engine driver and on-board staff (their teachers) that they will take the passengers to the destination safely, after an enjoyable time spent on-board. During this journey, children make new friends….while some leave them too.
Students enjoy their journey at school with productive work that they learn during their stay. At Angel Public School we design the curriculum in such a way that the child enjoys every moment of his stay in the school and learns to become a good citizen. The school sustains efforts to upgrade standards. We strongly believe in and work in an educational system that focuses on empowering students with appropriate life skills coupled with a sound knowledge domain about the globalized world. The rigorous academic programs and a wide array of sporting and non-sporting options provide ample opportunity for students to acquire life skills and become lifelong learners.
